Evansville Trip March 5-6
We made what will most likely be our last trip (before baby) to Evansville recently. We arrived on Friday evening and stayed through Sunday. John and I stayed at the Fairfield on the east side and Jack stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We enjoyed relaxing and sleeping in while Mom and Terry enjoyed keeping and playing with Jack!
We ate at Hacienda twice (yum!), and I was able to get my hair highlighted and cut. We spent some quality time at Jason and Amanda's house on Saturday after lunch at Turoni's. We met Jason and Amanda that evening at an Evansville Icemen game at Swonder.
The whole family met baby Genesis Saturday evening. She was so little and cute! I gave her a bottle while Jack and John came to watch. Jack and Wayne danced in the kitchen before Hailey's big fashion show. They also played with flashlights and had so much fun!
We normally join Mom for Sunday morning mass, but sleeping was just too wonderful this time! Jack and Hailey went with Mom and we met them afterwards. Mom and Terry were sad to see us go (especially Jack). It was one of the best visits to Evansville we have had in a long time.

We probably need a pink Magna Doodle. He loved it! |

Pregancy Weeks 21-24
All dressed up from celebrating Andrew's birthday! |
My favorite maternity outfit! |
There was a week that John was out of town and we probably missed it then. People at work are really starting to notice I'm pregnant! The nice thing is people initiate a conversation with me who might not have without the tell tale belly. The kids from other classes are noticing too! They say, "Mrs. Siminski, are you having a baby?" "What are you having?" "Oh, I wish it was a girl," say all the little girls.
The worst is when I walk into a room and the belly is the first thing they look at. I noticed the El Rodeo waiters obviously look at my belly this week. It was the first time I haven't been bundled up, so perhaps they were surprised. For those of you who don't know, we have been eating there at least once a week for about 6 months.
I was measuring right on point at my last appointment on February 17. I was 23 weeks pregnant and 23 centimeters. At 24 weeks, I had a terrible stomach flu for 3-4 days. I lost three pounds in two days!
We see Dr. Salazar again on March 17. After that appointment we will start going every two weeks. This pregnancy is flying by! We are still working on a name...........
Playing around at 19 Months
Look at my dimples! |
Jack loves my water bottle! I had to go get him a sippy cup with a straw so he would stop wanting mine! He comes home often and asks for "why why" which means water. |
Perfect for reams of paper or sweet little boys! Look how his hands are folded- too cute! |
When John was out of town in February, Jack looked for daddy all day. He pointed to John's hat and said, "Daddy!" I had to let him wear the hat at least for awhile. |
Jack makes this face when he is eating too! He puts his head back a little bit and looks at you through tiny slits in his eyes. He picks up such funny things! |
